Unit 2: Creating an SQL Query and Configuring Parameters
In this unit, we will learn how to create SQL queries and configure dynamic parameters to extract and organize data according to our needs. We will explore the concept of SQL queries, from their basic structure to how to use filters and relationships to obtain relevant data.
We will see how to select and configure providers and connection strings, validate our queries, and adjust key parameters such as dates and countries.
We will also learn how to customize the interface with controls such as dropdown lists or date pickers, and to integrate global parameters to achieve more consistent reports.
Finally, we will configure and test a submodule that will show us the customers with the highest sales within a specific date range, paving the way to transform this data into graphs in the next unit.
